I Hate Burpees

The Workout of the Day (WOD) tomorrow consists of burpees.

I. Hate. Burpees.

Tuesday's workout involved many sets of this torturous exercise. And since I can't do the "real" ones (my fat butt needs everything modified), I have to do the version that has you dropping to your knees before laying on the floor, preparing to explode and jump to your feet with your hands high in the air. (Or, in my case, kind of push myself up so I'm nearly on my feet but still kinda hunched over, praying I don't fall on my face.)

Hubby thinks my loathing for them is hilarious. He may or may not get throat punched after tomorrow's class.

I am still not prepared to start counting calories, weighing myself daily, and generally obsessing over every tiny morsel of food that passes my lips. At some point though, I have no doubt this will change. All this hard work at CrossFit can't be for nothing.

The plan is to attend classes 2 or 3x a week. The other 4 or 5 days a week need something exercisey added. No clue what that will be. Time is a huge consideration since my Darling Daughter (DD) has several classes and commitments I have to shuttle her around to.

There is no food plan. I should probably make one but...I'll get there when I'm ready. I'd much rather take this whole thing slow and steady than go full throttle and burn out right away.
